We’re proud to share that ACE Lifts has once again been successfully audited and recertified by Lift Cert to The Lifts Regulations 2016. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to safety, quality, and full compliance in the manufacture and installation of passenger and goods lifts.
The Lifts Regulations 2016, established under UK law, set out essential safety and performance requirements for lifts and safety components. They cover all aspects of lift design, installation, and testing to ensure they are safe for users and maintainers alike. These regulations are particularly crucial for companies like ours that operate in the lift installation sector, ensuring that lifts placed into service in the UK meet consistent and robust safety standards.
Our recent audit by Lift Cert, a UKAS-accredited notified body, involved a thorough review of our technical documentation, quality systems, and compliance processes. The audit confirmed that ACE Lifts continues to meet the stringent requirements of Schedule 12 (Conformity to Type based on Quality Assurance of the Production Process) of The Lifts Regulations 2016.
What does this mean for our customers? Simply put, it provides independent assurance that ACE Lifts is fully authorised and competent to carry out lift installations that comply with legal requirements. It also reinforces our commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality lift systems across the UK.
We’re pleased to continue offering peace of mind to our clients, knowing their lifts are in the hands of a company that meets all statutory obligations and industry best practices.
